Production Process of Transmission Housing Die Casting Mold

1. Requirement Confirmation

Based on the customer-provided transmission housing drawings or samples, confirm material specifications, dimensions, and technical requirements.

2. Mold Design

Use CAD/UG software for 3D structural design, with focus on optimizing the gating system and cooling system.

3. Material Preparation

Select H13 high-quality tool steel, pre-treated via forging to enhance thermal fatigue resistance.

4. Rough Machining

Process the mold prototype using milling and lathe machines, reserving allowances for fine machining.

5. Heat Treatment

Quenching & tempering + nitriding treatment to enhance surface hardness and wear resistance of the mold.

6. Precision Machining

CNC precision machining to form the mold, ensuring cavity dimension error ≤ 0.05mm.

7. Assembly & Trial Casting

Assemble components such as mold frames and ejector pins, conduct trial die-casting on machines, and inspect the finished housing products.

8. Surface Treatment

Polishing/sandblasting to improve mold demolding performance and extend service life.

Strict Quality Control, Full-process Assurance
